A few things to talk about.

AUCKLAND ARMAGEDDON 2009.

It was so much fun, seeing all of my friends again and making new ones.
On Saturday we (Jett and I) walked around in costume, just trying to find our way through the new venue. But not before an hour and a half wait in the line to get in there. Note to self = next time buy tickets online! I found the last 5 comics of Soulfire which I have been looking for, for about 4 years now. I also got 4 more Naruto mangas. 2 to go and I have finished my collection! Thats a landmark right there. I also found Selphiroth's stall! YAY CUTE PHONE CHARMS! I had to go back and buy more on Sunday. I met up with Jen, Jess, Alex and a few others for lunch and all round had a great day.

On Sunday I just dressed up as a random ninja and with Jett and Dani we did all those things that you can't do in costume. Like LAZOR STRIIIIIKKKE! I pwnd everyone! We also got my FMA dvds signed by Travis Willingham and I can't remember her name right now 'Lust'. Also, Greg Cipes, Olivia Hack, um, the voice of Goku and DANTE BASCO!!!!!!
We then followed him to the panel where we sat there grinning. HOT! I then caught up with Marika and her BF. Then the COSPLAY GAMES! It was so much fun to watch, and Jett and I took part in it as the Auckland team. We came 3rd equal and got free chocolate, so all round was pretty awesome.

And Monday! We had the Cosplay judging at 11, it wasn't the best room, but who cares, the cosplayers were FREAKING AWESOME! Jett and I entered as Makoto and Yasuhiro Gensou from the Samurai Duelers League. We then got out, had lunch, watched the eating contests and other stuff on the main stage, including the hilarious Michael Winslow (who commented on our awesome costumes after the show.) Then was the Main Stage Cosplay Competition where we had to get up in front of everyone and do our skit. It was awesome and nerve wracking at the same time. But as soon as we get up there we forget the audience and just go for it. After everyone was finished, the winnersd were announced. Several people got honourable mentions, including and , then was the prizes. The awesome won 'Best solo' and 'Best technical'. , and won 'Best group' and 'Best skit' and and I won 'Best in show'. Then the Melbourne winner was bought up and the winner of the 1st 'Trans-Tasman Cosplay Cup' was announced...

It was us...

Safe to say we got mobbed after that.

The weekend wouldn't have been nearly as good without all my firends and the people who came up to say hi.

Hullo, hullo.

It's been forever! And no, I didn't die. I just had uni to contend with.

I finished that for the semester a few weeks ago and am still waiting for the results to come back.

On a more fun note. I WENT ON HOLIDAY TO AUSTRALIA!
And now I'm back...

We went to the Gold Coast for 6 days to start with. Our hotel was awesome, so was the weather. 25 degrees in winter FTW! I actaully have a tan.

We went shopping at Australia Fair and Pacific Fair and the main street and when I thought there wasn't anywhere else to go we went to the Carrara markets. They were lots of fun and I almost bought me a Sephiroth figurine. If only it was legit. I bought random cool stuff including jewellery, hair pins, awesome Chinese coins amoung other stuff.

We also went to Dracula's cabaret. Freaking awesome! Oh and one of the performers was the splitting image of you Jen! She even acted like you too, it was quite wierd.

And we swam, so much. In the pool and the sea and in the pool some more. Lol, I had fun.
Oh, I almost forgot Movie World! I stalked Batman. I havent been on a roller coaster since I was 9 (and that was the rainbows end one = FAIL!) so it took a little guts to get on a few of them. I didn't do the superman one though. NOONE IS GETTING ME ON THAT! We also saw an awesome stunt car performance there. It was mean.


We then went to the Sunshine coast where we did MOAR SHOPPING! This time at the Eumundi Markets, these were huge and awesome and almost all of the rest of my money was spent there. We went to some awseome restaraunts and relaxed.
Australia Zoo was another place we went to. It was really awesome to go there, although I was quite tired after that one because it is HUGE!

The last day we were stuck at the airport for a little while so I sat round reading trashy magazines from the stores there.

I bought the cutest Echidna plushy which served as an excellent pillow on the plane ride back.

All and all I had a really great time. And as soon as I came back I went to Laser Strike. WOO! I love holidays.

1: I never make New Years goals because I know I'll break them.
2: I don't know If its a flaw or not, but I just can't be mean, (my sister is the only exception) that means that I don't fight with people, but I also don't stand up for myself.
3: I get embarrassed easily.
4: I love English humour. Terry Pratchett, Monty Python, Blackadder (99% sure that's English.)They're just so witty.
5: I love to sing.
6: I love cleaning other people's houses (I discreetly clean my friends rooms when I'm invited), I'm really analy retentive that way.
7: I'm scared of talking to strangers.
8: I hate coke, cream, plain chocolate (gotta be filled with something) and most alcohol.
9: People often ask if I'm English/Canadian/American. Maybe it's because I enunciate.
10: I'm probably gonna be that lady who cosplays with their children.
11: I can stare at people for a very loooong time without blinking, I've been told it's creepy.
12: I talk to myself for company if I'm on my own for too long.
13: I feel left out when it comes to parties.
14: I'm impatient.
15: Im a good shoulder to lean on, if anyone is every in need of it. Or so I'm told.
16: I LOVE the Pukeko! Cutest bird evar! Not too road savvy though.

* Woo, I'm going to Rotorua on the 18th, so I'll be gone for a week. By all means keep replying, etc, because the second I get back I'll be on to see who loves me (lol, conceited much). Good news is I'm back in time for ACPicnic. Bad news is I have not planned a cosplay to wear as I had previously thought I couldn't make it.
* I'm slowly working my way through the TB photoshoot, so yes you will be spammed with more photos at a later date.
* I have my first double's SDL battle that ends in February, so you will see that at a later date.
* I'm planning on getting a table at DO, can anyone tell me how much it is to get one?

I don't care whether you celebrate it or not, or for whatever reason you do, all I want to say is have a wonderful time for the rest of the year. Party it up and enjoy other people's company.

I myself have been playing a lot of texas holdem and the forehead game and am sure as hell having fun.

When I have time I will bombard you with the photos from the Trinity Blood photoshoot we had on the 20th.

I'd love to know what everyone has gotten as presents. Tell me all.
I am so happy, my sister went to Japan earlier this year and I have gotten Christmas presents from her. I solid silver ring which has a very FF feel to it, and a red yukata. I have gotten o many other awesome ones but I just wanted to mention those two.
